Huntly Musician's Club is a friendly, keen group of musos who meet on the first Thursday of every month at Huntly RSA, 42 William Street, Huntly. There's easy access to their larger room from either of 2 doors.

The club has been operating in various venues around Huntly for 16 years continuously and counting.... Mike Lynch & Greg Allen of "Rocky Rhodes" and latterly “No Exit” bands between them provide the vocal P.A, lights, keyboard, drum kit, & bass rig. There's usually a couple of guitar amps available, but most guitarists bring their own plus instruments & effects.

It's an open mic night and we have soloists, groups etc and a willing and ever-changing collection of musicians that form impromptu groups- styles range through rock, pop, country, folk, reggae, r&b, funk, blues etc. A mix of covers & some originals is the norm, usually any act gets about 3 songs to perform on stage before we "change the guard"...

There's no charge at the door, and we have full use of the RSA facilities, plus the restaurant open for value meals, and usually start after 7.30 pm and run through to 10.30 pm. Children welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult if under 18.
